While traditional approaches often offer a one-size-fits-all solutionCultural Compass delivers customized CQ development.

Our process moves beyond existing notions of cultural awareness to build true cultural competence and adaptability, focusing on advanced skills required for effective action to:

  1. Increase Insight: Develop a deep understanding of how different cultures function within your specific organization and across your industry.

  2. Develop Skills: Embed measurable CQ strategies into your daily operations, allowing for better collaboration, problem-solving, and communication.

  3. Achieve Outcomes: Equip you to strategically leverage cultural differences for innovative solutions and successful goal attainment.

Sharon Lim

Raised in the cultural crossroads of Malaysia—by a Sri Lankan/Chinese father and an Irish/German mother— created the essential foundation for my drive to connect and bridge differences between people. This background fueled a commitment to fostering connections and engagement to build relationships whether in the workplace, in community or the classroom. My passion for sharing the importance of having Cultural Intelligence (CQ) is born from a unique perspective: a multicultural upbringing and the invaluable experience of living and working in many different countries while serving global corporations, governments, and non-profits. These firsthand experiences showed me just how often this critical skill is overlooked, and how easily it lead to misunderstandings and missed opportunities.

I want to share those lessons and help others fully build their own CQ capabilities. The world is more diverse and interconnected than ever, propelled by technological advances that are closing geographic distances daily. I believe that this unprecedented change is not a challenge to be managed, but an opportunity to be seized. We must possess the skills to adapt, leverage, and harmonize these differences for a unified good, ensuring that our interconnectedness leads to positive, sustainable outcomes for our organizations, our communities, and importantly, cultivating a powerful global mindset and sense of belonging for the generations to come.
